Climbing Tours at Open Air Demo 10am and 1pm
Utah Mountain Adventures--(formerly Exum Utah Mountain Adventures) will conduct Climbing Clinics at the OR Open Air Demo at 10:00am and 1:00pm. Beginner through expert-level climbers will be shuttled to various crags along the Ogden River, offering short approaches to high-quality Quartzite climbs from 5.6-5.13. UMA guides will equip the routes and oversee belaying, knots, etc. with safety and fun as the primary goals. Any gear needed will be provided by UMA, including shoes, harnesses, helmets, ropes and hardware. Shuttles leave from the Open Air Demo entrance.

Central gathering point for the climbing community featuring relevant advocate groups, Product demos, Athlete meet and greets and testing facilities. Test product or just blow off some show steam with a bouldering session in the climbing zone. Stay tuned for a complete zone event schedule as the event nears. The Mammut Bouldering Championships &Native Eyewear Presents
The world’s best climbers will compete for a huge cash purse at 7:00pm Tuesday, July 21st at the Shilo Inn.The competition begins Monday night at The Front Climbing Club, where a field of over 150 pro climbers are narrowed to the top 10 men and women for the Big Show on Tuesday just across the street from the show.  Bouldering Championships at Summer OR has always been the biggest stage for competition climbing in our industry featuring star climbers including Chris Sharma, Daniel Woods, Anna Stoehr, Alex Johnson, Alex Puccio and many, many more. And in 2009 the Mammut Bouldering Championships will combine with the industry block party.
