MEDIA ALERT - Pro Bouldering Championships at Outdoor Retailer Tonight - August 11th

WHEN:    TODAY; Saturday, August 11

WHAT:     Beginning with over 200 climbers, the Pro Field has been whittled down to 24 through the qualifiers held Friday, August 10th. The remaining 12 of the world’s best will vie for cash in an on-sight bouldering format held Saturday, August 11th, on the rooftop of the Shilo Inn’s parking complex after day three of Outdoor Retailer Summer Market.
   
During the Outdoor Retailer Salt Lake City event, hundreds of climbers will compete in qualifying rounds at the Front Climbing Club on Friday, with live real-time scoring broadcast to the Summer Market’s Climbing Zone throughout the day. The top 10 men and women will then compete in a fast- paced showdown Saturday night on four bouldering problems from V9 to V11.

This Bouldering Championship event is brought to you by Mammut, EMS, Outdoor Retailer, Rock and Ice, Pyramide-USA and Revolution Climbing. Organized by NE2C and the Front Climbing Club.
