Survey Urges Brands to Collaborate on Eco-Textiles

A new survey by the Bainbrige Graduate Institute recommends that leading outdoor brands collaborate more on sustainable initiatives for the industry. The results of the survey were unveiled at the OIA Eco Working Group meeting at OR Winter Market.

The survey found "significant opportunities for cross-brand collaboration on specific sustainability initiatives." Other findings reported on consumer familiarity with the concept of sustainability, and the outdoor industry's "eco self-awareness."
