Nitches Acquires Backwoods Equipment Company

Nitches, Inc., a designer and marketer of niche market products, has acquired Backwoods Equipment Company. Niches' current brands include Gossard, Crabtree & Evelyn, Dockers, Adobe Rose, Bill Blass, and many more.

The Backwoods brand includes eight outdoor retail stores as well as the travel service Backwoods Adventures. The Backwoods retail chain consists of stores in Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas, with company headquarters located in Austin, Texas. Jennifer Mull will maintain her current position as Backwoods' CEO.
