Russ Hopcus Named President of Icebreaker U.S.

Former Nike and Adidas executive Russ Hopcus has been named president of U.S. operations for New Zealand-based merino-wool apparel company Icebreaker. Hopcus is replacing Troy Ballard, who elected not to relocate with the company from its previous Idaho headquarters to Portland, OR.

Hopcus worked for Nike from 1991 to 2002, culminating in a position as international general manager for Nike's ACG outdoor business. Most recently, Hopcus was senior vice president of sales for Adidas.
